Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the biggest retail weekend of the year, has come and gone, and you are wondering with the year coming to a close if you should continue heavy advertising even over the holidays. The answer to this depends on a number of factors, are you running another sale before the holidays, does your company have the bandwidth for no breaks in the season? Are you trying to advertise new products? Are you doing a holiday product launch? To know if you should continue heavily advertising during this season should be determined by your answers to these questions. For some companies they deserve a break in their advertising departments and choose to only wish their customers a happy holidays instead of doing anything crazy. For smaller companies I always recommend going hard on advertising, marketing, and production up until mid December then doing a hard stop to give everyone a break till the new year. Let your employees and customers know how valued they are during this season! Happy Holidays!
Does TikTok growth correlate to growth on other social media platforms?
One of my most asked questions is if someone goes “viral” on TikTok does that automatically mean you or your business will grow on other platforms? The short answer is no, not always. Depending on what the viral content is it can correlate, but it won’t always. When it comes to growing on all platforms consistency is key versus just growing from one viral moment.
